The Mac OS X AddressBook has very useful features to manage phone calls with a bluetooth phone - the Sone Ericsson P800 in my case. Its possible to get an onscreen display on the Mac of someone calling the phone and with certain phones its possible to send and recieve SMS messages. However, I was not able to connect to the P800 from Addressbook.
It turns out that the P800 phone bluetooth has to be in "Discoverable" mode - simply "on" will not do. Unfortunately the SMS feature does not work with the P800 or P900! It works great with other SE models (such as T610/616, T68 etc)
STH..the P800 connects to the Mac OS X Addressbook.
